NOVA Crisis Response Team Training in Phoenix

The Arizona Attorney General’s Office is hosting a National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) Crisis Response Team Regional Training September 12-14th in Phoenix.

NOVA’s basic level, three-day training consists of 24 hours “of techniques and protocols for providing crisis intervention to traumatized individuals. The training focuses on the fundamentals of crisis and trauma, and how to adapt to basic techniques to individuals and groups in this area also known as psychological first aid. Thousands who confront human crisis – victim advocates, law enforcement officer and others – have completed the course and recommend it to others.” The training is open to anyone in the community – governmental, not-for-profit, private individuals.
